My name is Jana Robison. I have lived and worked in Washington State for almost 18 years as a Registered Nurse before going back to school to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from Gonzaga University with a master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. I also have a master’s degree in nursing through Chamberlain College of Nursing with a focus in leadership and communication. I have practiced in a variety of roles as an RN and that experience, combined with my educational background, helps me look at each person in a more holistic way. I believe it is important to meet people where they are and to collaborate with treatment goals. No one knows you better than you and I’m looking for that expert opinion of you as we talk about treatment approaches and goals.
I offer treatment through medication management, holistic strategies, and some psychotherapies. Those psychotherapies include DBT, CBT, interpersonal, intersystem family therapy, and humanistic therapy. After assessments are completed, we will always review your options together. You will always have a choice.
I really enjoy working with children and adolescents, but care about all age groups. I’m willing to see and treat anyone between the ages of 8 to 80! I specialize in bipolar spectrum disorders, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, personality disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and trauma. I welcome anyone into my office, regardless of race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. I look forward to learning from my patients and encouraging them all to live a life to the fullest potential with their most authentic self. There is no room for shame in my office because you will always be met with unwavering unconditional positive regard. It doesn’t matter where a person is in their journey, there is always hope. My sincerest goal is to partner with you in getting where you want to be so that you can live your best life! Nothing makes me happier than seeing the people around me happy and healthy.
