Starting psychiatric care can feel unfamiliar, especially when you are unsure what to expect or how to describe what you have been experiencing. You do not need to have everything figured out before your first appointment. We can begin with what matters most to you.
I’m Pardeep Kaur, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My approach is grounded in careful listening, respect, and collaboration. I take time to understand your concerns, experiences, and goals so we can develop a treatment plan together.
My nursing background has shown me how closely mental health connects with physical health, relationships, and everyday life. That broader perspective shapes the way I approach your care.
Our first appointment is an opportunity to get to know each other. We will discuss your symptoms, health history, current concerns, and what you hope will change through treatment. You are welcome to ask questions and share any worries you have about the process.
During follow-up visits, we will review your progress, discuss how medications are working, and consider any changes needed to support your goals.
I want you to feel comfortable speaking openly and involved in decisions about your care.
I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults from diverse backgrounds. Appointments are available at Shifa Health’s Everett / Silver Lake office and through telehealth.
Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner,
Walden University
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Baba Farid University
Board Certification: Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I gained 17 years of registered nursing experience across medical-surgical, neurological, telemetry, long-term care, acute care, and critical care settings.
Throughout that work, I saw how mental health could influence a person’s physical recovery, relationships, and overall well-being. Those experiences inspired me to specialize in psychiatric mental health and continue caring for people with attention to the whole person.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, cooking, and exploring new places.
