Nancy Turner ARNP
Hello, my name is Nancy Turner ARNP. I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner. I am licensed to perform assessments, manage and prescribe medication, and discuss therapies tailored to your individual needs. I enjoy serving the both the adult population and older adult population.
As a registered nurse I was privileged to work with in both the medical and psychiatric fields of nursing, many years with the geriatric population. I believe these experiences have helped me understand the importance of the mind-body-spirit connection. When any of these components are not balanced, an individual often needs help finding ways to obtain stability. I encourage clients to consider all these aspects of their well-being.
My philosophy of care
My philosophy of care is based upon a collaborative care model. That means that you, the client, know yourself best, and it is my job to help you find the treatments that lead to a path of healing. I think all patients have a unique personality and set of circumstances that have led them to the place they are now, and that everyone deserves an individualized plan of care, which includes psychotherapy and/or medications. At times clients may be referred to a therapist who specializes in their specific needs.
